#Night 4; July 2020 Vacation

It was a rainy, dreary evening. And we had a blast.
We parked ourselves right under the Edison Beach House building to hide from the weather.

It was kind of like spying on Mother Nature (et al)

This is the Pier again, taken with the long lens from under the Edison Beach House.

Girls getting high on the beach. (Told you I am nosy)

Thank you for a wonderful Anniversary Day.
I love being married to you!

AND NOW THIS!

#Night 3; July 2020 Vacation

Sunset, Full Moon, and Fireworks!

We settled down into our beach chairs, facing West for the Sunset.

and the magic happened!

Then we turned our chairs 180 degrees for the Full Moon and Fireworks

and the Fireworks!

#Day 2; July 2020 Vacation

Independence Day! What a celebration! Hub's 60th Birthday on the 4th of July. Always fun. He said he grew up thinking all the fireworks were for his birthday (there were!).

There was only a brief glimpse of sunrise, but I caught it!

View of the Pier from our hotel room.

Excellent beach day!

We went Parasailing!

In the evening we walked to the Yucatan Bar & Grille for dinner.

These street preachers were a little annoying, yelling and screaming at people. This is usually a nice, relaxing place to visit- The Square - but we just walked through and on to the beach.

Happy 60th, Hubs 💑

#Day 1; July 2020 Vacation

Logo Photo. I took this picture through the slider. the Edison Beach House logo is affixed to the slider, looking out over the beach.

I thought I would show you around the area today, but it hasn't happened yet and it's already 5:00! It has been a very laid back day- beach, ocean, work, pool, repeat.

Tomorrow is Independence Day and my hub's birthday!
We are planning to Parasail and beach bum the day!

#SunRainbow

First moments of the May 24, 2020, Daybreak

Happy Memorial Day

Today is the second day of continual rainfall, and that is all good. I feel sorry that it is probably ruining family gathering plans, but our earth really needs a good soaking.

Before the rain started yesterday I noticed the eastern sky starting to light up. The view through the lens was spectacular!

After a couple of quick shots I turned around. Filling the western sky was a magnormous rainbow! The colors in the rainbow were quickly fading but the sky was still awash with blues and pinks. The entire experience lasted maybe two minutes. Hubs and I stood there, in awe. Isn't this Universe something else?

No filtering, but you know that already, right?
This coloring job is entirely Mother Nature's!

Let's take time today
to remember those
who didn't make it home from their service.
